Dokumentasi Perfomance "Kerokan"

The artwork presented is a representation of art as a form of critique, structured in three phases: Memory, Waterfall of Emotions, and Death. Memory showcases a collection of Polaroid photos taken over five months across various countries, depicting joyful experiences that are worth cherishing and being grateful for. However, experiences of discrimination and bullying give rise to a wide spectrum of emotions. Like a catharsis, the chaotic strokes of Chinese ink become a medium for releasing these emotions across a 30-meter scroll of paper. In its resolution, these concrete experiences lead to a moment of reflection—a zeitgeist, or “spirit of the times”—that reveals a decline in the values of Pancasila among certain generations today.
